Templates

In order to utilise Excelerator, you can either use sample Excel templates that are provided as part of the installation, or create your own ones.

Using sample templates

These are found in the Samples folder under the directory where you installed the product.  This folder can be access from your Windows menu: Programs->Excelerator-><Module>->Samples

The standard template for the NL Journal Excelerator product is shown above.

As can be seen, all the important fields that are visible when accessing the Sage Journal Entry option are present on the sheet for you to enter data into.

Also present are buttons for creating the journal to be posted and changing the database connection. And there is also the ability to browse on all the fields that you would be able to browse on in Sage.
